Adoption conditions

On July 26th 2013, while driving, Zlata Korjenić spotted a box near the road. The box was moving. She stopped the car. In the box, there was a cat with both of her back legs injured.

She took the cat to the shelter and realized that she is badly injured: her tail and right back leg were broken, her left back leg was already shorter, she couldn't urinate or defecate. Cat was only 7 or 8 months old and she was very small, so we named her Mala Mala (Little cat in Serbian language).

On August 07th 2013 the X-rays showed that she has a spinal cord injury, just above her tail and at the end of her tail. Her right back paw joint is dislocated and half of her left back paw is missing, but that is an old injury.

After 5 days Mala Mala underwent a surgery. Screws were inserted in her paw joint and her tail was amputated. She wore a cast and E-collar for 6 weeks. The surgery was successful and she moves around like there was no injury.

On October 29th she was spayed.

Mala Mala is full of energy and optimism, she is curious, cuddly, socialized, neat and most important very obedient. She gets along with other cats. She is simply the ideal pet. Tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
